About Us
The National Student Speech Language Hearing Association (NSSLHA) is the only national student organization for pre-professionals studying communication sciences and disorders (CSD) recognized by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). We inspire, empower, and support students in the field of CSD. We also plan and organize events that benefit our community, both on campus and off. Our events support the DuBard School for Language Disorders, The Children's Center, and USM's Speech and Hearing clinic, as well as local organizations like the ARC, TEAAM Autism, and the Alzheimers Association for Research. Our core values include: leadership, collaboration, integrity, service, and education.
