What is GEWW?
Golden Eagle Welcome Week (GEWW) takes place directly before the start of the fall semester and is meant to help new students transition to campus before classes begin. During GEWW, students will be divided into small groups with their assigned GEWW Crew Leader. You will learn more about Southern Miss spirit and traditions, campus life, and student resources. We'll also host events in the Hattiesburg community to connect you both on and off campus to your new home!
