Our mission is to empower students through leadership, service, and connection. We strive to build an inclusive and supportive community within the Honors College, where all students—whether in HCLC or not—feel welcomed and valued. Through mentorship, outreach, and service, we aim to foster meaningful relationships, encourage involvement, and give back to the broader community.
Joining HCLC offers honors students opportunities for leadership, connection, and support. As a student-led organization, it builds leadership skills through active involvement, including recruitment efforts that help students connect with peers early on. HCLC promotes community service and fosters a strong social network through events and shared experiences. Members benefit from academic support through peer collaboration, and freshmen receive guidance through a structured mentorship program. By combining service, leadership, and academic support, HCLC creates a well-rounded, engaging environment that helps honors students grow, succeed, and form lasting connections.
